Practice day for our 4-H & FFA kids (2 legged & 4 legged)

This is Josh & Blackberry. Blackberry is a 50%Savanna/50%Boer

doeling. They recieved Reserve Champion at the 2007 Heart of

the Ozarks Fair in the Middle Weight Market Goat class.

This is Josh & RutRut, his 50%Savanna/50%Boer Cross wether.

This goat weighed 84.5 lbs @ 129 days. They showed in the Heavy

Weight Market Class, didn't place as well as Blackberry, but he was the

only 4 month old goat in the Heavy Weight Class.

Both of these goats were raised with the doe/kid herd and never

placed on full feed. Good job Josh, we are proud of you and

your goats!

horses graze behind the goats on our smaller pastures to help with parasite control, at least they have

some kind of a job...............................

my favorite horse, "Romeo", may I grow old as gracefully as he does (i wish).............
